This quilt is in the traditional memory or album quilt tradition, where blocks were made by many friends and autographed by them, then assembled into one quilt for one person. This quilt has a center block representing the town hall, some surrounding school house or store blocks and the balance house blocks. The sashings surrounding each block have facsimile signatures of township citizens taken from checks issued between 1919 and 1950. Some signatures included are Albright, Bigelow, Bolanz, Broughton, Cargould, Carter, Conger, Eleo, Johnston, Morris, Osborn, Ritch, Truxell and many, many more. Over 100 facsimile signatures are included.
The quilt was pieced by Joanne Noragon and quilted by Janice Kiser. The quilting pattern is traditional Baptist Fan.
