Whereas, the Board of Trustees of Boston Township deems it in the interest of the public health, safety, morals, comfort, and general welfare of said township to establish a general plan of zoning in order to conserve and protect property and property values, to secure the most appropriate use of the land and to integrate and coordinate land uses with the National Park Service due to the proximity of the Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The Board of Trustees of Boston Township finds it necessary and advisable to regulate the location, height, size of buildings, set-back building lines, size of yard, courts and other open spaces, the use of buildings and other purposes and for such purposes divides the unincorporated area of the township into districts or zones; and to provide rules and regulations for the administration and enforcement of this Resolution. The Authority for establishing the Boston Township Zoning Resolution is derived from Sections 519.01 - 519.99 inclusive, of the Ohio Revised Code.
